UK Open 2019 - Amateur Ballroom and Professional Latin

Thursday was the last night at the UK Open. The first lineup announced was Amateur Ballroom and, as customary, the results were called in reverse order. The third place went to Igor Reznik and Mariya Polischuk from Ukraine. Kyle Taylor and Izabela Skierska who represent England were runners-up, being placed 2nd in four dances. Great result for them, as they were 5th last year. And the the first place was convincingly won by Fedor Isaev and Anna Zudilina from Russia who successully defended the title from 2018. They finished with Quickstep as their honour dance.
The last event of the night was Professional Latin and the results were also announced in reverse order. No surprises here, the top three couples, all representing USA, defended their positions from last year. The third place went to Troels Bager and Ina Ivanova Jeliazkova, the second place to Stefano Di Filippo and Daria Chesnokova. The winners again were fabulous Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko. They finished the night with an honour dance Jive. Congratulations!
