We met with Aleksandr Altukhov and Cheyenne Murillo, the winners of Professional Rising Stars Latin at the UK Open 2019, for a nice chat. Sasha and Cheyenne had one day break from competition as they were due to dance the Open event the next morning, and were able to relax and enjoy the moment.
Theirs are an interesting story, as they started as a Pro Am couple, Cheyenne being Sasha's student and a really young girl. This partnership was meant only for a short time until she finds a suitable partner.... They won a number of titles in Pro Am like World Championships but there was time to move on.
